What It Means To Us

"Playing for the Ice Storm is an amazing experience. There are men from all over the state and the ages range from 18 to about 60. What we have accomplished in the two years I have been on the team is amazing. I can say without reservation that the Ice Storm organization is one of the best in the country."

"It's great being a part of the Ice Storm. I have played in the EFL for 5 years, now for three different teams, and by far the Ice Storm are the hardest working, most organized, and the most disciplined team I have played for. It's like a big family, we all do stuff off of the field, we do a lot of community service events, team meetings, banquets, and most of my friends that I hang out with I met through the Ice Storm. This is my third season with the Ice Storm and I have had a blast. Playing for the Ice Storm has definately been a huge part of my life that I am very greatful for."

"Playing for the Ice Storm has givin me a whole other family. It is the tightest team I have ever been apart of on and off the field. The last two seasons have helped me grow as a football player and an individual and I hope to be able to continue my career as an Ice Storm player."

"Playing for the Ice Storm has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. The bottom line is not about winning and losing, but rather its about the friendships and bonds we form with our brothers on the team. This team stretches from 18 years old all the way to 52, yet nothing else separates those that wear Ice Storm blue and silver. We play this game for those to the left of us and those to the right and also those who cheer so loudly for us in the stands. We also know that when we go into battle together there is nothing that could tear us apart. We go into battle as a team and come out of a battle the same way. That is why we win. That is why I can't let go of the game. That is why I can't let go of this team. That is why I'm ready for another year of Ice Storm football."

"Playing for the Ice Storm has been one of the greatest things to have happen to me. You become apart of something that you can't use enough words for. One great word to sum a lot of it up would have to be "FAMILY". I know that when I step on the field of battle, my brothers have my back the entire step of the way no matter who or what is in our way."
"P.S. I Love My Hogs!!!"

"Playing for the VT ICE STORM was a life changing move for me. I played HS football in VT and played two seasons in NCAA Collegiate Football. From the first practice with the Ice Storm, I knew I had found my new home. The coaches welcomed me with open arms, and I quickly built up new friendships with some members of the team. Half way through the season I knew this was where I was supposed to be. Classy, powerful, tremendous athletes who I can now call my family, these men are my brothers and I love em all. Together we went into battle, and in one season all of my dreams and aspirations came true. Together we made the dream become a reality. Undefeated season, conference champions, championship rings, trophies and a shot @ a national championship title...& we did it together. Together we stand, and I will always remember my brothers. Now it's already another season to look forward to and everyone is already working hard, another thing I love about this team, is they will never go against you, they are always there for you, and we will never back down. I love all yall. 08 is comin fellas. and I know its gonna be one heck of a ride...aha and Ima ride this motha to the wheels fall off!"

"The Ice Storm organization is fantastic. Not only for what we accomplish on the field but also for what we do off the field as well. It's great to find a team full of awesome ball players who are also involved with the community. Doing things such as helping with the Special Olympics, reading to young children, parades; it all makes this an awesome organization. I am blessed to be a part of the Ice Storm family and look forward to many more years fun and service with everybody."

"Being part of the Icestorm has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. When we started the team some of the goals were to be a winning team,be first class on and off the field and to treat the players with class and respect. I think we have done that and more.

As a player there is nothing better than being in the defensive huddle, looking over at the offensive players and the look in their eyes is one of defeat. They know they are in for a long day and that every inch they try to gain is one they are going to pay dearly for.

The Icestorm fans make this so much more than just another football team. They are the most important thing that makes the Icestorm special. Without them none of us could play the game we love.

Winning big games and championships has been such a blast and a feeling that you just can't get doing anything else. But the thing I value more than everything put together is the friendships I have made with my teammates. Being voted captain five times by my Icestorm brothers has been my highest honor.

I hope those friendships last forever and that I mean as much to my teammates as they mean to me. Lastly, as players come and go over the years my hope is that the guys who came before them will not be forgotten. The hard work they have done on and off the field has blazed the trail so future players and coaches can be part of the game we all love."

"Wooooo baby..having me some fun tonight...yeah!"
